…Moved!! This morning Richard wiggled his toes! On both legs! Pretty exciting!
He had just come out of a really rough night. Kept dreaming/hallucinating that he was at work. When George would try to get him to “snap out of it, and calm down,” he would get really upset. So for most of the night, George had his first food-service experience, as he and Richard waited on most of the dinning room at Hudson Grille. Apparently they were slammed, but made it through the rush together with some good ole “full hands in, full hands out” team work. :)
But of course, when he called us early in the morning to scream into the phone that he was moving his toes… it gave all of us a fresh wind of energy. Especially Richard. He really needed it. Words really cannot describe.
He is having some trouble breathing today. Mainly because of drainage that keeps “getting stuck.” They had to put him back on oxygen and he is getting a breathing treatment now. So please pray for this.
Also, he will most likely have an procedure tomorrow to help with his circulation, simply because he is not moving. Please keep this in your prayers.
We will continue to keep you updated on Richards status. One day at a time. :)
